Founder and Principal Advisor
Michelle de Medeiros is the Founder and Principal Advisor of Altamenty™, an independent executive AI advisory firm that helps organizations make better strategic decisions about artificial intelligence.
Michelle has more than two decades of experience leading data, analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence initiatives across higher education, retail, logistics, national laboratories, and Fortune 500 organizations. Throughout her career, she has advised executive leaders on technology strategy, built enterprise AI capabilities, established governance frameworks, and led multidisciplinary teams responsible for delivering AI solutions at scale.
Her experience spans the full lifecycle of enterprise AI, from strategy and investment planning to product development, machine learning operations, responsible AI governance, and organizational transformation. Having led both the technical and business aspects of AI initiatives, she understands that successful AI adoption depends as much on executive judgment, organizational readiness, and disciplined decision-making as it does on technology.
Michelle founded Altamenty™ on the belief that organizations need objective, independent guidance as they navigate one of the most significant technological shifts of our time. Unlike firms that sell software or implementation services, Altamenty™ provides unbiased executive advisory focused exclusively on helping leaders evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions, reduce risk, and create lasting business value through sound strategic decisions.
Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Physics and combines analytical rigor with practical executive experience to help leadership teams approach AI with clarity, confidence, and long-term perspective.
